The trade fair will begin in just six weeks. From November 7 to 11, 2017, FENESTRATION BAU China (FBC) will be held for the first time in this organizational form at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The FBC is attracting many exhibitors.
More than 95 percent of exhibition space has already been reserved, a participation rate that is approaching record levels and indicates nearly full booking. Confirmed participants in the trade fair include many well-known companies like Hörmann, Kin Long, Kömmerling, Reynaers, Schüco and YKK.
The great interest being shown by the industry underscores the construction sector’s importance to the Chinese market. “With this success, FENESTRATION BAU China has cemented its supremacy as the leading platform for windows, doors and façades in China,” says Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, Deputy CEO of Messe München.
Matthias Strauss, exhibition director of FENESTRATION BAU China, added: “Through the integration of new ‘BAU’-focused segments like building automation, building technology and BAU IT, we have expanded the range of FBC and can offer solutions designed to meet the needs of the Chinese construction market.”
One look at the halls shows that expanding the segments was the right step to take. The FBC will use eight halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
The good infrastructure at the SNIEC’s fairgrounds will provide exhibitors with the perfect setting to present the latest technologies and products for the Chinese construction industry.
As usual, halls N3 to N5 and halls E5 to E7 will display solutions for windows, doors and façades. In halls N1 and N2, visitors will have an opportunity to learn about the newly added segments of building automation, building technology and BAU IT.
In addition to industry solutions designed in particular for the Chinese market, visitors to the FBC can look forward to the unusual supporting program where they can learn about the latest market trends and developments.
“The FBC will offer a complete overview of the market and will act as a communications and information platform,” said Emily Zhang, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FBC. “It will facilitate discussions between manufacturers and project developers, architects, planners and distributors.”
