Council waives fees for relocating Cardinal glass company

During a 28-minute meeting Tuesday night, the Loveland City Council whizzed through its short agenda and approved a request for $57,000 in fee waivers for Cardinal CG company, a glass company moving its Salt Lake City operations to Loveland.
During a 28-minute meeting Tuesday night, the Loveland City Council whizzed through its short agenda and approved a request for $57,000 in fee waivers for Cardinal CG company, a glass company moving its Salt Lake City operations to Loveland.
 
The city’s business development manager, Betsey Hale, presented a brief summary of the fees, which include a capital expansion fee backfill, employee training, a building permit fee waiver and a waiver for construction materials use taxes.
 
“This is consistent with the city’s comprehensive plan and economic development policy,” Hale told the council.
