CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Glass Doctor® of Charlotte installed 66 custom, framed mirrors worth more than $14,000 in the new Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte March 30 and 31.

In-kind donations, like the two-day mirror installation, allow the House to focus on the most critical, day-to-day needs of the children and families undergoing treatment.
The new 35,000-square-foot facility gives families of children receiving treatment at local hospitals a comfortable place to stay during a stressful time. The House, which can accommodate up to 28 families at a time, will hold its grand opening April 30 – May 6.
"We're excited we're getting our own Ronald McDonald House here in Charlotte," Sieber said. "It's filling a need in the community, and we're glad to be a part of it."
This is the second year Glass Doctor and five of its sister companies in The Dwyer Group (Aire Serv® Air Conditioning and Heating, The Grounds Guys®, Mr. Appliance®, Mr. Electric® and Mr. Rooter®) made a national commitment of $100,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities®.
