The Lagos State Government has said its officials will comply with the ban on use of tinted glass on vehicles by the Inspector General of Police.
The IGP had ordered the ban of use of such vehicles by companies, government officials and individuals, saying the police would soon commence enforcement of the ban.
A circular from the Office of the Head of Service advised members of the public, including public servants, to remove from their vehicles, cellophane of whatever form used in tinting the glasses of their vehicles.
The circular emphasized that only official vehicles of the governor, the deputy governor and all other vehicles with factory fitted tinted glass were exempted from the order.
