China Glass 2011 to be Staged in Shanghai in May

Another grand gathering (China Glass 2011) of the global glass circles will be staged at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre on 11-14 May 2011. The exhibition is organized by the Chinese Ceramic Society and run by the Beijing Zhonggui Exhibition Co., Ltd. “China Glass” is fully supported by nationwide glass-related trade associations in China, including China Building Materials Federation, China National Light Industry Council, China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and China National Association for Glass Industry, as well as the Italian Trade Commission, GIMAV, VDMA of Germany and Dame Associates Inc. of the United States.

This exhibition is faced with over-all recovery of the world economy. China has presently gained a rapid increase in its national economy and the glass industry also has obtained significant economic benefits. In this situation, “China Glass”, as a vane of the development of Chinese glass industry, is held and has thus drawn great attention of the worldwide glass communities. The scale of this event reaches a new plateau with an exhibition area up to 67,500 square meters. It attracts 761 exhibitors, including 205 international companies, coming from 26 countries: China, Germany, Italy, the US, Belgium, the UK, France, Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Czech, Austria, Australia, Israel, Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Monaco. Italy, Germany and the United States organized their state exhibitors groups to attend the show. As all the previous events, numerous world-famous relevant companies came to demonstrate their new products, equipment and technologies, especially up-to-date achievements and development trends in relation to low-carbon, energy-saving and new energy technologies. Associated with the exhibition, 20 technical seminars are given with the show. Besides, GPD China 2011 and the International Symposium on Advanced Glass Melting Technology will be held in Shanghai respectively on 9-10 and 8-10 May 2011, just prior to the show. Therefore, the exhibition will provide professional visitors with a very good platform for technical exchanges, trade talks and seeking for cooperation partners and also a good business opportunity for enterprises from the world over to expand trade in China.
