(China Glass Network) Recently, with the approval of State General Administration for Quality Supervision and SAC, “Tempered Glass Panels for Furniture” Standard led by Dongguan Quality and Technical Supervision Standards as well as Codes was formally released. It is reported that the standard will be put into implementation from December 1, 2011.
Furniture manufacturing industry is one of the most important pillar industries in Dongguan. In order to speed up the promotion of the local industrial restructuring and transition, Dongguan Quality and Technical Supervision standard group widely read the technical information from domestic and abroad, and also take part into the enterprises and the consuming market to do the research, repeated to verify the mechanical properties of tempered glass for furniture; on those bases they worked out the national standard and successfully released.
The release of “Tempered Glass Panels for Furniture” Standard will Effectively regulate the market of Chinese glass furniture, improve the products quality, and greatly promote the innovation and development of the domestic furniture industry.
