And the output is expected to reach 210 million units, only increased 9% over last year, which lower than previously expected. Developed countries market demand lower than previous expected, while emerging market demand growth is still strong.
Influenced by the weak market demand, research units cut this year global LCD TV output, it is anticipated that north America market growth rate may drop by 2%, western European markets TV output may drop by 1.5%. Because of the end of government subsidies policy, Japan market this year may decrease more than 40% over the last year.
DisplaySearch estimated that the average growth rate from 2011 to 2015 will be 6%, while the developed country market is 0.3%. The flat-panel TV markets in China, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa are the strongest, in the next 4 years, the annual growth rate may be 17%, while in North America, Japan, Western Europe the growth rate in the same period may be 0.3%.
