According to data released by China National Development and Reform Commission on August 17, in July, the national plate glass output was 61.36 million tons, increased by 13.7% over the correspondence period last year, growth rate up by 3.5%. In first 7 months, national plate glass output was 437.01 million weight box, up by 19.7% over same time of previous month and growth rate increased by 5%.
In July, price of plate glass fall back. The cost price of plate glass was 67.8yuan per weight box, dropped separately 1.6yuan and 10yuan every weight box compared with same period last month and same time last year. The drop rates are separately 2.3% and 12.9%. At the end of the month, the plate glass stock in key building material enterprises is 27.54 million weight case, increased by 65% over same time last year.
In first half year, the profit of plate glass was 1.47 billion yuan, dropped by 60.2% over the same period previous year.
