New back painted products provide an unlimited range of standard and custom colors, including metallic. The product is now available for orders with maximum sizes up to 72” x 144”. "Back painted products are ideal for interior or exterior applications where color is a key component in the overall design,” says Stephen Balik, Principal-Business Development. New dimensions and depth can be achieved by combining color with any number of glass substrates and Alice® direct-to-glass printing. The full spectrum of colors can be applied to annealed, tempered and laminated glass of varying thicknesses and fabricated with holes, notches and cut outs. Balik added that as GGI continues to invest in its fabrication capabilities, the company improves lead times and competitive pricing on custom architectural and decorative products. In addition, GGI’s back-painted product is a silicone coating and environmentally friendly with no heavy metals. The rubber-like elastomeric film, when applied to glass, also satisfies the criteria for fallout protection and safety glazing. |
