Xinyi Glass has begun production at its third low-iron patterned solar glass production line Wuhu, Anhui, China. The line has a daily production capacity of 500 tons.
The low-iron solar glass production line is designed to produce patterned solar glass with over 91% solar transmittance to meet the increasing market demand by crystalline PV and thin-film PV module manufacturers, the company says.
Xinyi Glass plans to install two additional new lines, each with melting capacity of 500 tons per day for solar glass production in Tianjin and Wuhu, China. These are scheduled to be commissioned in May and June.
