Arkema Inc., a provider of glass coatings for the flat glass industry, has commissioned its online CVD flat glass coating system with two multi-slot coaters for low-E, SunLite, and Ice-Blue glass at Kibing Glass Company Limited’s float line in Dongshan Island, Fujian Province, China. This float line uses Arkema’s online pyrolytic chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process.
“Kibing Glass Company is now in a position to help fulfill the growing demand for coated glass of the Chinese market, especially for solar control glass in the southern part of China,” says David Dai, global CVD manager for Arkema Inc.
Kibing Glass Company chief technology officer Jinchu Shao adds, “Arkema’s contribution in support of the CVD project is greatly appreciated. Many thanks for the great support of the engineering team from Arkema."
