Officials at PPG Industries, Pittsburgh, announced that Anne M. Foulkes, assistant general counsel, additionally has been named corporate secretary, reporting to Glenn E. Bost II, senior vice president and general counsel, effective immediately, according to an April 25 release. In this role, she adds duties as corporate secretary to her work as assistant general counsel leading legal support for the Performance Coatings and Optical and Specialty Materials reporting segments.
Foulkes was named assistant general counsel in 2010, previously serving in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in PPG’s law department. Prior to joining PPG in 1995, she was a litigation attorney with the firm Eckert, Seamans, Cherin & Mellott in Pittsburgh. Foulkes earned a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a law degree from The Dickinson School of Law.
