Zhejiang Glass Co., Ltd has successfully produces float glass with thickness of only 0.63mm, which plays an active role in the improvement and perfection of technical progress in float glass.
With the rapid development of auto glass, E-glass and glass progressing , Zhejiang Glass Company has seized the opportunity to focus on technology research of ultra-thin glass. After they have produced float glass of 1.1 mm with a manufacturing yield up to 85%, researchers of Zhejiang Glass keeps making unremitting endeavor and has successfully produced the thinnest float glass of 0.63mm in the country. The company is now taking efforts to pass the detection by National Glass Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.
It’s known that glass with thickness below 2mm can be defined as ultra-thin glass . The high value added product with advanced technology is four times the price of general float glass, few countries as Japan and America can produce it by now. Zhejiang Glass is the only enterprise can produce the product while national standard of it has not made yet.
