Southern Aluminum Finishing Co., Atlanta, hired Craig Burkhalter as an inside sales representative for its Atlanta branch, according to a March 2 release. He handles inquiries for sheet, extrusion and anodizing customer service.
"My job, for the most part, is the starting point for orders, and SAF's commitment to excellent customer service makes my job rewarding," Burkhalter said in the release. He has been in the position since fall 2010.
While Burkhalter is new to the metals industry, he has brought a strong background in both sales and customer service. Prior to joining SAF, he worked in inside sales for Honda Kubota in Statesboro, Ga. He has a B.A. in finance from Georgia Southern University. Working at a golf course while completing college, he remains an avid golfer.
