To take full industrial advantage of Zhangzhou Kibing Industry Park and establish solar PV & new glass material manufacturing centre, Zhangzhou Kibing Ltd signed an agreement with government of Dongshan City, Zhangzhou, Fujian recently, as a plan to develop Zhangzhou (Dongshan) PV and New Glass Material Industrial Park, with bringing in a total investment amount of RMB 15 billion.
The industrial park is located in Lingang Industrial Zone of Cheng’an, Dongshan City, designed to cover an area of 6160 acres and 2200 acres in the first phase. The main investment is in downstream deep-processing production line of energy-saving glass and photovoltaic glass industry.
The controlling shareholder of Kibing Group—Zhangzhou Kibing Home Co. or relative company has invested RMB 5 billion in industrial park and built up thin-film solar cells production line with a 1 GW scale. Moreover, Zhangzhou Kibing Home Co. will invest RMB 1.5 billion in extended zone of industrial park, to establish Ultra-thin electronic glass production line. In addition, the thin-film solar cells production line and ultra-thin electronic glass production line will sign up investment agreement separately.
