On June 19, AGC Glass Europe won an award in the Logistics category at the “2013 Supplier Trophies” organized by PSA Peugeot Citroën at Poissy in the Parisian region of France. This award recognizes the quality of service as measured by compliance with deadlines and amount of series components delivered to the group’s plants.
In total, 23 suppliers were presented with awards in front of an audience made up of representatives of 120 companies, suppliers of PSA Peugeot Citroën, in the presence of Philippe Varin, chairman of the managing board of PSA Peugeot Citroën, Yannick Bézard, purchasing director, and members of the carmaker’s general board of directors.
In presenting the trophy to Cédric de Kerchove, global account manager AGC Glass Europe for the PSA Group, Bézard praised the quality of service offered by AGC. “With a supply service rate of 97 percent in 2012 and 99 percent so far in 2013, AGC is the benchmark in its category,” he commented.
