Following an extensive period of research and development, DigiGlass are now able to provide a 12-year warranty on their scratch resistant, optically clear printed window film.

Following months of testing and refining, the DigiGlass team has been able to improve not only the quality of the printed image but also the colour density and opacity of the finished printed window film. As a result, the warranty on their decorative window film has been extended to 12 years. With many traditional vinyl solutions providing a 7-year warranty, this latest development provides a further differentiator for DigiGlass in a growing window film market.

DigiGlass’ managing director, Dave Macdonald commented, “We have always strived to be at the cutting edge of the window film industry. This latest development has enabled us to provide our customers with an unrivalled warranty that reflects our confidence in the quality of our product.”

Dave went on to add, “With a growing global client base we are working harder than ever to continually evolve and improve our products and move the industry forward. We are certain that a 12 year warranty will be an important factor for architects, designers and agencies looking for the best solution for their internal and external glazed areas.“

DigiGlass provide a clear polyester based PET window film with shatterproof and bombproof protection. Using a unique 5 colour printing process on the film, that includes CMYK and white UV inks, DigiGlass are able to provide optically clear window graphics that appear as though they are printed direct to glass.

The window film also carries a UK Class 0 Fire rating allowing it to be legally applied to glazing in all public spaces. The films shatterproof and fire retardant properties combined with its high definition visual impact has lead to it being in demand from architects, interior designers, transport companies, retail outlets, hospitals and design agencies.
