If you love the appearance of frameless heavy glass show doors — that open, elegant look — but hate the cleaning involved in keeping all that glass looking like new, there is now exciting new technology available to make your enclosures virtually maintenance-free.
EASCO Shower Door Company now offers that patented technology: Guardian ShowerGuard, available on all their Estate and Elite heavy glass series of doors.
Why do shower doors look terrible after a while? The answer is in the glass itself, since untreated glass is susceptible to the effects of everyday use of shampoo, soap, organics, hard water, even humidity.
Glass chemically reacts with these contaminants and over time residues, stains, and scale buildup on your doors. Even some cleaning agents can spot, discolor and corrode the surface of the glass. In other words things you use to clean your glass can actually make your doors look worse.
Now you have a choice. When you purchase a new EASCO frameless enclosure through GSI Bath Showplace, you have the opportunity to ask for the Guardian ShowerGuard option. This technology seals the glass surface, which virtually eliminates chemical corrosion.
By using a high energy, vacuum deposition, ion-beam technology, a thick coating actually fuses to the glass surface as a permanent coating. Unlike other products offered on the market today, Guardian ShowerGuard Does Not have to be reapplied, and comes with a 10 year warranty.
Many household cleaners can be used for periodic cleaning, and there is a list of approved chemical cleaners available on EASCO’s website.
For further information or to see EASCO’s frameless enclosures on display, stop by our Showroom located at 373 96th Street in Stone Harbor.
