Experts Panel Enlarged Meeting of Insulating Glass Professional Committee was held in Wuxi on Mar.6th ,2009.
Attended by Baiheng Zhang, secretary-general, Hui Li, deputy secretary-general from China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, experts panel members from insulating glass professional committee and the special invited represents from universities and institutes, secretary-general Baiheng Zhang further confirmed the meaning of this meeting based on the present market situation and quality status of national insulating glass and the present economic situation. He states that at the present, although insulating glass industry was developed rapidly, there are still some problems for auxiliary materials in the aspects of quality and price. Therefore, it is very necessary to make industry standard with will be stable base for insulating glass quality guarantee and the healthy development of glass industry.
Hosted by Hui Li, deputy secretary-general from China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, the attending experts made a discussion mainly on the index demand of insulating glass drier, confirmed fundamentally the index demands that should be mentioned in the standard and put the trial verify requirement into practice with an aim to meet the requirements of insulating glass performance. After the meeting, the drafters revised the standard according to the advice of experts. Meantime, the association will hold the second discussion meeting for the standard in order to finish the standard formulation as soon as possible.
