The Meeting Report for the Fourth conference of the Fourth Committee by China
Architectural and Industrial Glass Association Safety Glass Professional Committee was held at Changsha Junyi Kangnian Hotel in the afternoon of Nov.25th, 2010, attended by 14 people including Baiheng Zhang, secretary-general from china architectural and industrial glass association, directors, deputy directors, members of safety glass professional committee and members of professional committee secretariat.
Presided by Hui Li, deputy secretary general of glass association, secretary-general Baiheng Zhang made an important statements. He states that after the files release from committee of four ministries, at the same time of high-speed development, there are also some problem existing in the safety glass industry. First, about the quality, the irregular operation and bad glass sheets selection of some small-sized factory directly affect the safety glass quality. Second, for design and use, using tempered glass instead of laminated glass brings danger. Third, the installation is not standard. All the above problems seriously influence people’s recognition about safety glass. As is known that we here are all leaders of professional committee, how should we do next year in order to standardize the industry development? We sincerely hope you could bring up your ideas and suggestions for our further work.
In the name of professional committee secretariat, Lei Wang made the work report of professional committee and debriefed the recent work, which has three parts: a. the economic situation in the second half year of 2009 and in the first half year of 2009 and the market prediction in the second half year of 2010 and the first half year of 2011; b. the main work from the second year of 2009 to the first half year of 2010; c. the next task and plan. All the attendees carefully listen to and examine the work report of committee secretariat, hold a hot topic about the present industry development, and discuss on the next task and plan of professional committee based on the demand of industry development.
At the end of the meeting, director of safety glass professional committee, Jianjun Yang, vice –president from Xinyi Group made a conclusion for this meeting. He states that all the suggestions about industrial training and relevant standards making brought up are excellent. It is hoped that all the committee members carry on the regulations and rules more strictly, positively take part in various activities and work better, Moreover, Baiheng Zhang secretary made an arrangement for the professional committee work of next year based on the suggestions and advice and also brought up some requirements.
